France, a souvenir sheet with two stamps.
The helicopter carrier "Jeanne d'Arc" with three crewmembers is depicted.
The stamps and one souvenir sheet were issued in December 2009.
Now the above (new ?) sheet is offered in Germany.

Somalia, a set with five stamps lighthouses.
The names of the towers are visible on the stamps.

Isle of Man, a set with eight stamps "Genealogy Issue 2011". On one stamp Cunards "Ascania"
is depicted. In 1923 the ship was launched, she was a passenger ship and during WW an
auxiliary vessel of the Navy. In 1957 she was wrecked.

Norway, left a single stamp for the 150th birthday of Fridtjof Nansen.
100 years ago, on the 14th December 1911, Roald Amundsen reached the south pole. He and his
companions are depicted on the stamp in the middle. Right we see his sledge dogs and the
polar vessel "Fram".

Gibraltar, a souvenir sheet with one stamp "The Royal British Legion".
In the background a battle ship is depicted.

Norway, one personalized stamp with a windjammer. In July the sailing vessels of the Tall Ship Race
will reach the port of Stavanger. 200 days before the first stamp was issued (see march stamps),
100 days before the left stamp is issued and at the 28th July the last stamp will follow.

"Sjøkurs" (left stamp) and the British "Queen Mary 2" (right stamp) take part
in this event.

We see the 2011 poster of this sailing week.

The sheet will be issued on 9th June.

Left top a stamp about the painter Edward Hopper, "a scene off Provincetown, Massachusetts with
a lighthouse in the background."
Right "with this 27th stamp in the Literary Arts" Mark Twain is depicted (June 2011).
In July a se-tenant about US merchant vessles will be issued. We will see a clipper,
a paddle wheeler, a Liberty ship and a container ship.
