Madagascar, a souvenir sheet about Roald Amundsen.
The Norwegian polar explorer discovered the South Pole,
he was the first who sailed with his "Gjoa" through the Northwest Passage,
later the Northeast Passage and
crossed the North Pole with his airship "Norge".
In 1928 Amundsen died during a rescue flight for the distressed Italian
Polar explorer Umberto Nobile.

Terra Australia and Antarctica, a single stamp with the
French patrol boat named “Le Malin”.

Pakistan, a single stamp (?) with the frigate "Aslat".
She was the first frigate built in their own country; first day in commission was in 2013.

150 anniversary of the death of Eugene Delacroix. On the right
highlighted image the sleeping Christ is displayed in a boat on the Sea of Galilee.
It's stormy and the crew drop the sails.

On the sheet we see the KRI "Dewaruci", on the stamp the yacht "Maple Leaf".
KRI means Kapal (Perang) di Republica Indonesia, Republic of Indonesia Ship.
The KRI "Dewaruci" is a sail training vessel of the Indonesia Navy.

Left the port of Odessa is depicted with the
"MSC Melody" and the "Costa Mediterranen". Right the port of Tanger with his
containerbridges is shown.

From right top we see the "Savannah" 1819, a steam trawler 1877, "Alice M. Colburn" 1896,
"Muirneag" 1903, STS "Lord Nelson" 1985 and STS "Young Endeavour" 1987.

On the left stamp wee see the harbour of 1923, right of 2013.

As you can see, the mail arrives with a container ship.

Denmark, France, a joint issue, with each two stamps,
350 years of trade agreements between the two countries, 1663.
The Danish stamps we have published last year, now the
French stamps were accessible.

British Antarctic Territory, a sheet with six stamps, "Trans-Antarctic Expedition 1914 - 1916"
of Sir Ernest Shackleton.
Pictured are Mrs. Shackleton, Expedition attendees, the crew and his ship,
the SS "Endurance".

From left top the barque "Europa" 2007, the lighthouse of Mahatao on the island
Batanes / Philippines,
the fullrigger "Amerigo Vespucci" 1976, the tower of Ile de May / Scotland,
the tower of Fastnet Rock / Ireland and the ship on the lower sheet should be the
USCGS "Eagle".
