We invite you to become a member of The Ships on Stamps Unit, an affiliate of the American Topical Association and the American Philatelic Society. We are also a founding member of the International Federation of Maritime Philately.

The Unit membership year runs from July to June 30, but regardless of when you join, you receive all the issues of Watercraft Philately for that membership year. Applications received during May and June are entered onto the Roster as of 1 July.

The Unit journal, Watercraft Philately, is published about the first of the odd numbered months. It contains histories of ships shown on stamps, changes in the status of operating ships, listings of newly issued ship stamps, book reviews and news of the Unit and and the hobby.

Although you do not have to be a member of either the ATA or the APS to join the Unit, each of these organizations has its own particular benefits. In the topical field, ATA is the leader while the APS is the nations largest general as well as specialized organization. An application and further information on either of these organizations will be sent unless you have entered a membership number in the space provided on the membership application.

Increase your pleasure in collecting ships on stamps, enrich your knowledge of both stamps and ships, and broaden your horizons by joining the Ships On Stamps Unit. Fill out the enclosed application and send it to our Secretary now.
